Presidential aspirant Manny Villar has been bombarding our airwaves with his infomercials that depict his rags-to-riches success. Maybe not in it's truest sense.
Inquirer's article on March 7 showing Villar's 3-storey house along Moriones St. in Tondo Manila is a proof that the Villars are well-off. Having such a property in the 60's was considered aristocratic. Manny Villar didn't even enrolled to any public schools nearby which were considered then as competitive schools. Villar studied in Holy Child Catholic School for his elementary days and finished high school at Mapua in Doroteo Jose.
Sad to note that once again the under privileged poor are being used and taken advantage. Can you remember another presidential candidate which has the same battle cry? We're few weeks down the stretch of this very important political event. I just hope that our next leaders will truly serve our people and protect the interest of our country.
